How to use this site
Read the passage first, then read about it
Open the Bible before you open the guide
Every article assumes you have the passage in front of you. Quotations here come from the Berean Standard Bible and the King James Version, both in the public domain, and every quotation is checked word for word against the text.
Use the guides to see the shape of a book
A book guide will not replace reading the book, but it will tell you who is speaking, why, and what to watch for, so that the hard chapters make sense.
Ask Scribe when you are stuck
Scribe answers from Scripture and public-domain Christian sources. It is a study aid, not a pastor or a church. Ask it about a verse, a word, or a book, and then take what you find to prayer, to Scripture itself, and to people in a local church.
